WHEN WHO YOU WERE NO LONGER FITS

Rebuild with Intention. Lead with Self-Trust.

When the roles or structures that once defined us begin to shift, identity changes with them. There is a space between who you were and who you are becoming, where what comes next is still taking shape.

I work with individuals, leaders, and organizations in these in-between seasons to rebuild with intention and step into what’s next with authenticity and self-trust.

THE WORK OF REBUILDING

Supporting individuals, leaders, and organizations as they navigate change.

The goal is to help people see more clearly in those moments. To understand what’s influencing their reactions, where they still have choice, and how to respond in ways that align with who they are and what matters most.

Whether someone is navigating change in their own life, stepping into leadership, leading through complexity, or supporting others through transition, the common thread is learning how to respond with clarity and intention, even when the path forward isn’t obvious.

My work focuses on building awareness, making intentional choices, and responding rather than reacting when change shows up. Change can be personal, professional, or in many cases happening at the same time. What often makes it challenging isn’t just what’s happening, but the pressure to move quickly, decide without clarity, and stay functional while everything feels unsettled.

Jennifer Leigh Coaching & Development – resilience and leadership coaching

RESILIENCE BUILT PROACTIVELY

I work with individuals, leaders, and teams to strengthen how they respond when life or work shifts. Through coaching and practical frameworks, my work focuses on developing awareness, choice, and sound decision-making so people are better prepared for disruption, life transitions, and ongoing complexity.

INDIVIDUALS

You might be here if:

  • You want to be more intentional about how you respond to change — not just get through it.

  • You’ve handled change before and want to refine the skills you rely on when things shift.

  • You’re looking for better ways to respond to uncertainty rather than pushing through it.

  • You want to build practical skills that support clarity and confident decision-making during change.

LEADERS & ORGANIZATIONS

This work often resonates with leaders and organizations who are:

  • Leading through ongoing change rather than a single moment of disruption.

  • Noticing early signs of strain and addressing them before performance or engagement declines.

  • Wanting to build resilience proactively, not only respond when something breaks down.

  • Looking for clear, human-centered ways to support people through sustained complexity.

Jennifer Leigh Coaching & Development – resilience and leadership coaching

My work and expertise does not fit neatly into a single role or category. I bring together over 20 years of leadership experience within Fortune 200 corporations across organizational development, learning design, human resources, and coaching. I have navigated disruption and long seasons of change in both my personal and professional life that has only deepened my commitment to growth, authenticity, and how to respond to change.

MY PHILOSOPHY

I’m guided by deep curiosity and a genuine interest in how people learn and evolve.. What matters most to me is helping individuals and organizations make sense of what they’re navigating and move forward in ways that feel intentional, grounded, and true to who they are. My work is thoughtful, high-touch, and responsive, shaped by listening closely, noticing patterns, and translating complexity into clarity people can actually use.

THE RESILIENCE RESERVOIR™

A DIFFERENT APPROACH TO RESILIENCE

STRENGTHENING RESILIENCE FROM THE INSIDE OUT

Resilience is at the heart of my work. I don’t approach it as a personality trait or mindset, but as a capacity that can be built, depleted, and intentionally restored over time. When resilience is framed this way, rather than something people should already have, it becomes a source of confidence instead of pressure.

Many resilience models focus on managing stress or navigating expected life transitions such as career changes, moves, or new roles. While meaningful, these experiences differ from life disruptions.

Disruptions are typically unplanned and often destabilizing. They can include loss, illness, burnout, or sudden change that impacts a person’s sense of identity, safety, and direction.

Disruptions rarely happen in isolation. Many people experience them in layers, with little time to recover before the next challenge arrives. Over time, this cumulative impact quietly drains internal capacity, even for capable and high-functioning people. When this happens, familiar “push through” approaches often stop working.

Lighthouse symbolizing resilience and guidance through change

The lighthouse is a symbol of hope and resilience - grounded in purpose, unwavering in the storm, and always guiding us home.

Through my own experience navigating multiple life disruptions, I came to understand that rebuilding requires something different. Not grit. Not hustle. Not bouncing back. It requires stabilizing first, re-orienting thoughtfully, and learning when to release what no longer fits, while actively replenishing the internal capacity needed to move forward.

The Resilience Reservoir™ and Stabilize–Orient–Surrender (S.O.S.) frameworks offer a structured, human-centered way to rebuild after disruption with awareness, intention, and self-trust, rather than reaction or force.

These frameworks form the foundation of my Heart of Resilience individual coaching work.

  • Working with Jennifer was so refreshing. Seeing myself through the Energy Leadership Index assessment and the color profile helped me discover so much more about myself and my leadership style. After years of doubting myself and my unique traits, Jennifer helped develop my leadership skills as well as gain confidence as a new leader with more self-acceptance and appreciation for what makes me standout. The group exercises during the training allowed our team to work much more in tune with one another, helping us navigate each other's traits without taking things personally.
